SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, TEXAS

The beach is some 80 miles from US on South Padre Island, Texas. It is beautiful. It is also expensive if you want to live on that isla.

I have not been there since 1997. That was the year my girlfriend broke up with me. WE were going to get married. It was a bummer.

I am over it. It took some time.

WE are facing the Coronavirus pandemic! The Rio Grande Valley hospitals are full. Refrigerated Morgue Trucks are being used.

It is horrific and sad.

A party boat went out for a sail. The whole scene was filmed. People not practicing social distancing. No one was seen wearing a mask!  Wow! Young people being careless! Not all were young.

It made the local evening news. The Cameron County judge angrily criticized the party-goers.

The owners of Murphy's Law said they urged the customers to wear masks and practice social distancing. They are not police they said.  Murphy's Law looks like a nice boat.

Would you chance an outing on it?

Not US!

Food and shelter are necessities. Going out on a party boat is not a necessity.

REFRIGERATED MORGUE TRUCKS IN MCALLEN, TEXAS

Hidalgo County in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas is number 7 in the state with high numbers of Covid-19 infected.  OUR county and region is being ravaged by Coronavirus.

President Trump and Governor Abbott do not really care about this region because it is predominantly Mexican-American and poor.

The Rio Grande Valley's hospitals are full. Coronavirus patients are being sent out of the Valley to other hospitals.

Now WE are using refrigerated morgue trucks.

Horrific.

TEXAS SUMMER

Waking up to a sweet southeast breeze and 77 degrees Fahrenheit is Heaven. Angels singing in the morning!

The day has the potential for demons screaming at 100 plus temperatures! Texas Summers are no fun! Especially in the Rio Grande Valley!

Now WE have to deal with the Coronavirus pandemic. This poverty stricken predominantly Mexican-American area is used to being ignored by politicians. Now it is worse with racist President Donald Trump! 

Texas Governor Greg Abbott refuses to shut down the state even though WE have the 4th largest number of Coronavirus cases in the nation! Abbott even convinced a Christian organization not to set up hospital tents in OUR area because it is too hot and WE are in Hurricane season! Plus OUR hospitals are full of Covid-19 patients!

WE have strong tents OUR military is utilizing in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Governor Abbott is a Trumpista Republican. He does his best to support Trump. 

WE have an aunt in the hospital with Coronavirus in McAllen, Texas and a male cousin with it in an Edinburg, Texas hospital.

WE are praying that both survive. Aunt Yolanda is in her 70s. She is also battling leukemia.  Cousin Johnny is 29 to 30 years old. He has asthma.

May GOD help the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.

NICK CANNON IS AN ANTI-SEMITE

Nick Cannon was fired by Viacom-CBS for making anti-Semitic comments on his podcast. Quite disgusting and disturbing.

The actor- TV host issued a statement that was not much of an apology. It seemed to follow the "if I offended anyone" line. 

Why is it that anti-Semites and racists can't just admit they are bigots? Why can't they defend their hate? They instead follow a cowardly formula of "if it offended anyone". 

There is no "If".  Nick Cannon's comments were offensive and anti-Semitic.

31 people died from Coronavirus today in Hidalgo County, Texas in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.

This area is impoverished and majority Mexican-American.  President Trump is 100% anti-Mexican. 

Texas Governor Greg Abbott is a huge Trump supporter. He opened up Texas too early. This lead to a horrific surge!

Texas is the 4th worst Coronavirus infected state! 

It feels like Trump wants minorities to die.
