THE BARISTA

• WE love Starbucks.  The Coronavirus Pandemic has kept US away. WE could do the drive-thru if WE do not want to chance it going inside.  The rule is that masks must be worn.

WE read about a barista that turned away a customer because she did not want to wear a mask.  The customer left angry and posted her disgust on Facebook. She was hoping to shame and harrass the Starbucks employee.

Quite the opposite happened! Folks posted comments supporting the java jockey! This must have further infuriated the woman!

One person even created a Go Fund Me account to raise 1000 dollars in tips for the young barista.  The goal was reached. People kept donating. The amount became 80,000 dollars!

That is incredible!

Good for him!

  

SPRITE GINGER

WE were intrigued by Sprite Ginger. What did WE do about it?

WE bought two bottles of Sprite Ginger and had the beverage with beans and pasta!

SPRITE GINGER tastes Fab! The ginger does not overpower. It us plenty strong in a smart way! Enough to fly the taste plane!

LET'S GO TEXAS

Texas is currently in 4th place in the Coronavirus cases and deaths category.

A few days ago it was in 5th place.

WE love Texas. WE do not want it to lead the USA in such a sad list.

Governor Greg Abbott opened up the Lone Star State too soon.

Now here WE are with bars reclosing.

There was no eay on earth that folks would play it safe in bars. 

It is like giving drunk folks a gun in a bar!

WE hope schools do not reopen in the autumn.  Do you really think kids will practice social distancing? N.A.C. as in Not A Chance!

WE would really like to visit Haifa, Israel some day. My beloved Aunt Alice was a huge fan of travel. She would have enjoyed a trip to Israel.

ALL ROADS LEAD TO WHATABURGER

WE miss going to Whataburger for a burger. Just to sit inside and soak up the Texas atmosphere was a treat.

WE could enjoy OUR Whataburger wirh extra onions as WE looked out the window at traffic.

WHATABURGER is a Texas Tradition.

WE are staying safe by wearing a mask, practicing social distancing and spending time home.

I hear 5ge wind outside roaring.

It's screaming at my house.

The walls are shaking!

The wind is blowing like a raging sea!

A HELICOPTER IN THE NIGHT SKY

A helicopter has been flying overhead for the past 30 to 40 minutes. Is it the state police?  Is it the Border Patrol?

WE will have to check out OUR socisl media sites as WE work the night shift!

A Clemson University student was proud of his racism and wanted to show the world how he felt. A picture was snaped of his racist anti-Black graffiti.

His mother is a public school teacher.

Higher Education does not make one immune to ignorance, racism and fear.

It blew OUR mind the first time WE heard Southern Rock. Little Feat, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Blackfoot were the first bands from that genre that WE dug.

38 Special became OUR favorite back in the 1980s when a transfer student was heard raving about the band in the junior high school hall in Mission, Texas. WE made sure to check out the band! 

Wow!  WE were immediate fans."Hold On Loosely" hooked US. The songwriting is excellent. The music and vocals are Pure Primo!

WE are using a second method known as the hydroponic method. Soil free. Just water and nutrients.
